White-water rafting

White-water rafting on Costa Rica's wild and scenic rivers is perhaps the single most popular adventure sport in the country, offering rapids of classes from one to five depending on experience. The time of year you are travelling will determine where your appropriate grade of rapids are recommended.The most adventurous rapids are found between the months of June and October.

Canopy tours

This adventure activity will have you wearing a harness and travelling down the cables through the canopy giving you the opportunity to see the tropical rainforest from a completely different perspective. Some of the best canopy tours are found in Monteverde, Rincon de la Vieja, Arenal and Manuel Antonio.

Horse riding

Costa Rica is an ideal destination for horse riding, whether it be a one off gallop along the beach or a horseback trek through the jungle and volcanoes. Most areas have local stables and we can arrange full riding itineraries or simple half and full day rides.

Fishing

Costa Rica is a world famous destination for its record breaking deep sea fishing, with charter companies available to take you on full and half day trips. Excellent fishing is available on Arenal Lake.

Surfing

There is fantastic surfing available all along the Pacific Coast with one of the most popular areas being Tamarindo. Costa Rica has become a real hot spot with surfers from all over the world.

Scuba diving

The nutrient rich waters of Costa Rica attract a vast array of fish with the best areas for scuba diving being off the Nicoya Coast, Osa Peninsula and the Isla del Cano with visibility in the 30 to 120 foot range.

Golf

The beauty of Costa Rica provides spectacular locations and views for championship golf courses. They are located in San Jose and various locations along the Pacific Coast. We can put together a full golfing programme, where you can play on the best Costa Rican courses as well as appreciating the diverse scenery.
