Costa Rica testimonials

A little hello from beautiful Costa Rica which we discovered thanks to you! We have had a super 2 weeks and seen and done so much it feels like we’ve been here longer. We loved Tortugero and Arenal in particular. We did lots of different tours, by boat, one foot, on horseback and saw so much The tropical rain storms were almost a daily feature, but impressive in their own right. Thanks again Helen!

We arrived back from Costa Rica on Sunday evening. Wow!! What a holiday. Probably the best we have ever had.

All the Hotels were fantastic, especially Casa Corcovado and the Parador. Daniel at Casa Corcovado, particularly asked me to say hi to you. He still makes great marguerites and is the hardest working person I have ever met!

The staff at the Parador couldn’t do enough to make our stay perfect. I particularly enjoyed their happy hour, two for one cocktails!

Holiday Designers, your ground agents were excellent, always on time and very informative, especially Douglas, our driver between the Xandari and Arenal and Monte Verde to Manuel Antonio. He is a great advertisement for Holiday Designers. Perhaps you could pass that on. We also enjoyed the Xandari very much (on your recommendation) it is a great place to stay for the first couple of nights. I even managed to catch some good fish, the chef at the Parador cooked some Mahi Mahi and some Spanish Mackerel that we caught.

All in all a fantastic trip, many thanks for organising it.

"I just wanted to drop you a note to say thank you for a fantastic holiday. Everything ran like clockwork and whilst I wish I'd had more time, the schedule you put together was exactly right for me and provided me with a great taster of Costa Rica. Even the Arenal volcano behaved itself and after being shrouded in cloud for 3 months, it all lifted when I arrived and I had great views of the eruptions at night

I definitely hope to return one day so hopefully I'll be back for more advice.

"We thank you for our welcome home letter but we thank you even more for organising our wonderful holiday in Costa Rica. The whole holiday was perfect - it started well when we were upgraded to Business Plus for our Madrid to San José flight!

All the accommodation was very good - all our lifts arrived on time and without exception the drivers were very good and very knowledgeable. All your suggestions and tips were very useful.

We found all the wildlife guides we had in various places very good as they were not only extremely informative but they chose the length and nature of the walk according to the members of the group. We especially enjoyed the Sentido Tranquilo in Monte Verdi. Here we were especially lucky as we saw (and filmed) Quetzals.

Corcovado was as special as you had told us - a perfect ending to our tour of Costa Rica."
