The Dana Nature Reserve in Southern Jordan is a protected Nature reserve overseen by Jordan’s RSCN (Royal Society for the Protection of Nature). The area offers a variety of landscapes and combines scientific research, social reconstruction and sustainable tourism. Dana is a vast diversity of landscapes from wooded highlands to rocky slopes, sand dunes and stony deserts and the views along the Wadi al-Dana are superb. It is home to 703 species of plants, 215 species of birds and 38 species of mammals.

Dana is a real joy for nature lovers (especially ornithologists), hikers, trekkers and amateur photographers. Whilst here, visit Dana village, explore archaeological sites and see some of the many birds that are resident here. Enjoy a stay in one of the Eco-friendly guest houses in the area.
