ABOUT LAKE TITICACA

The Lake Titicaca is the highest navigable lake in the world at over 3,800 meters above sea level. It is famously known as one of the most beautiful lakes in the world and is located between Bolivia and Peru. It is said that amongst the depths of Lake Titicaca the Inca Sun God was born.

The Lake is described as a vast sheet on cobalt blue water situated on the edge of the city of Puno. The Lake offers many activities and beautiful sceneries to explore and is the gateway to visit out to the famous Floating Reed Island of the Uros people. The Floating Islands are original and authentic floating Islands that are extremely unique, making them a top destination for tourists visiting Peru.
