Launching Star Clipper cruises
Costa Rica: Star Clippers provides the romance of the age of sail on one of the tallest sailing vessels in the world—Sailing along the Pacific Coast of
Costa Rica.
Costa Rica is a wonderfully unique & diverse country. To include a 7 night cruise along the
Pacific Coast now gives clients to opportunity to also visit areas that are not easily accessible or accessible at all by road! Combining a land tour with the cruise is a wonderful way to visit this fascinating country.
There are 2 main 7 night itineraries which sail along the Pacific Coast,
operating between November 2010 & March 2011. Option # 1 sails along the northern coast of
Costa Rica & includes a visit to Nicaragua. Option # 2 sails along the southern Costa Rica coast & includes a visit to Panama.Explore our Costa Rica Star Clippers cruise itineraries
Helen's Star Clippers experience
Worldwide Holidays director Helen Baillie blogs about her recent Star Clippers holiday where she experienced the sail boat which will be going to Costa Rica first hand.
It was my task to go and check-out the ship, such a hard job! So, we headed of for a short cruise. I love sailing so was very excited. We set sail out of Athens port to the sounds of ‘Vangelis Chariots of Fire ’ playing and the crew on deck ready to hoist the sails in the evening breeze, very dreamy.
The ship offers a perfect holiday, cruising along beautiful coastlines - while enjoying the relaxing atmosphere through the lunch and dinner, then visiting the different national parks and places of interest each day. On the shore trips you can relax on the beach or venture further and experience more the amazing countries you visit.
