Day 1: London – Amman

On arrival at Queen Alia Airport, you will be met by our representative and, after obtaining the relevant tourist visa, transfer to Amman for your overnight stay.

Day 2: Amman City Tour/ Jerash/ Amman

After breakfast you will visit the ruins of the Amman amphitheatre, the citadel and the Umayyad Palace. Free time for walking/shopping in the old down town area of the city and proceed north to visit the Graeco-Roman city of Jerash; one of the most preserved in the Middle East. Later you will transfer back to Amman for your overnight stay.

Day 3: Amman/ Madaba/ Mt Nebo/ Wadi Mujib/ Kerak/ Petra

You will spend the day exploring the King's highway, which was once part of the ancient Silk Road. You will visit the Christian Town of Madaba "The City of Mosaics" and take a detour to visit the Monastery in Mount Nebo. Proceed to Kerak via Wadi Al Mujib, a deep valley holding one of Jordan's most breathtaking views. Visit the castle with its diverse history dated from the Byzantine to the Mamluk period. You will continue south to the hotel in Petra for your overnight stay in Petra.

Day 4: Petra

After breakfast you will meet your guide for a visit of the ancient Nabatean Capital which starts on horseback, followed by a walk through the Siq, a long narrow fissure between two overhanging cliffs. The tour then proceeds to gradually unfold the mysteries of the Red Rose City with its spectacular treasury, Royal Tombs, burial chambers and high places of sacrifice. Later return to the hotel for your overnight stay.

Day 5: Petra / Wadi Rum / Petra

After allowing more time to further explore the fascinating city of Petra, head south to enjoy an excursion to the desert sands of Wadi Rum. Experience an exhilarating 4-wheel drive trip over the dunes of Wadi Rum, whose dramatic lunar landscapes will forever be associated with Lawrence of Arabia

Day 6-7: Petra / Dead Sea

Today you will leave Petra and travel towards the Dead Sea for your 2 night stay.
Step back in time to visit the Baptism site of Jesus before your arrival at the Dead Sea with its unique water qualities and climate for your stay at leisure.
