This is certainly one of the best haciendas in all of Ecuador. It’s stunning location, Inca walls, stunning murals on the walls, all make this a wonderful small distinctive place to stay. The views of Cotopaxi volcano are outstanding. Originally built way back around 1440 San Augustin has six suites and five double rooms. The hacienda has eleven rooms in total with some having original Inca walls and each with a name rather than a room number.

From the lodge guests can enjoy horse riding, fishing, trekking, mountain biking, visit the local markets and have fabulous photographic opportunities of Cotopaxi and the surrounding landscape.
