Salta is located in the fast emerging and sought after North-West Argentina. The small town Salta offers facilities that a larger town would obtain whilst encompassing beautiful scenes perfect for exploring along with traditional colonial towns, ancient fortresses and pre-Inca ruins, museums and live music clubs.
Our favourite activity is heading into Cafayata’s infamous vineyards found in Vallas Calchaqueis, Argentina’s second center for quality wine production and enjoying the fine wines including red, dry and sweet white. Cafayate is a small but popular tourist destination easily reachable via Salta.
