The M/V Ocean Nova is a modern, boutique style and comfortable vessel with a capacity of 68 passengers. She was built in Denmark in 1992 to sail the ice-choked waters of Greenland, and her ice-strengthened hull is ideally suited for expedition travel in Antarctica. On board there are 38 expedition staff & crew.

Facilities

Onboard the M/V Ocean Nova includes a spacious dining room with unreserved seating, Polar Library with a large collection of polar books and DVDs, a glass-enclosed lounge and presentation room, a bar staffed by professional bartenders, 24 hour beverage service, Polar Boutique, Clinic with onboard licensed doctor and an exercise room. The ship has Zodiac boats that are well suited for disembarking and wildlife watching.

Cabins

The M/V Ocean Nova has capacity for 68 passengers accommodated in comfortable outside cabins, all with private facilities, including dedicated single, twin and triple cabins. The ship has 38 outside cabins with exterior views and en suite facilities and flat screen TV and DVD players.

Food

The ship includes an onboard Chef preparing delicious and filling meals as well as snacks which are available throughout the day.
