Belmond, previously known as Orient Express, currently have 5 hotels in Peru, and 2 wonderful train services-the Hiram Bingham and the Andean Explorer.

The 5 hotels include the Miraflores Park Hotel in Lima, the Sanctuary Lodge at Machu Picchu, the Rio Sagrado Hotel in the Sacred Valley and 2 in Cusco; the Monasterio and the Palacio Nazarenas.


BELMOND MIRAFLORES – LIMA


The Belmond Miraflores Park Hotel in Lima is beautifully located on the coast with stunning ocean views, enjoying a prime setting in one of Lima’s most fashionable areas. Its restaurants are highly regarded and are amongst the best in Lima. Belmond Miraflores Park has 63 Executive Suites with city, garden or ocean views, 14 Junior Suites with ocean or city views and sauna and four Presidential Suites with bedroom, living and dining area, Jacuzzi and sauna. There is a heated rooftop swimming pool, health and fitness centre, squash court, spa, solarium, two restaurants, bar and library.


BELMOND SANCTUARY LODGE – MACHU PICCHU


The Belmond Sanctuary Lodge is the only accommodation actually at Machu Picchu. This hotel is the ideal option for guests that wish to maximise the time spent in the Machu Picchu ruins. Belmond Sanctuary Lodge offers 29 guest rooms and two presidential suites. All rooms have crisp linens, king-size or twin beds, ensuite marble bathroom, wireless internet and TV and DVD player. The superior rooms are comfortably furnished and have courtyard views and a patio, the deluxe mountain view rooms enjoy vistas across the mountains and surrounding jungle. The two presidential suites are the most spacious and have a separate living area with a large furnished terrace enjoying mountain views.


BELMOND RIO SAGRADO – SACRED VALLEY


The Belmond Rio Sagrado Hotel in the Sacred Valley is set on the banks of the Urubamba River. This beautiful hotel is built in natural materials to resemble an authentic Andean village and is located 4 km outside Urubamba on the way to Ollantayatambo. and is located 4 km outside Urubamba on the way to Ollantayatambo. There are 21 rooms and suites decorated with local artwork and textiles, all have under-floor heating and spacious bathrooms with rain-head showers. There are also two small villas ideal for families.


BELMOND MONASTERIO – CUSCO


The Belmond Monasterio Hotel in Cusco is located just off Cusco’s main square and is set around a beautiful courtyard, steeped in history, dating back to 1592 and has been sensitively designed to reflect the building’s story as well as offering beautiful modern touches. They have 109 guest rooms and 18 suites, some with oxygen piped into the room- for those guests affected by the altitude.


BELMOND PALACIO NAZARENAS – CUSCO


The Belmond Palacio Nazarenas Hotel in Cusco, is a former 16th century monastery and the most recent addition, and the sister property to the Hotel Monasterio. Palacio Nazarenas is located on Nazarenas Square, just a few minutes by foot from both the Plaza de Armas, where Cuzco’s Cathedral and most important museums are located, and the arty San Blas quarter. The intimate Belmond Palacio Nazarenas has just 55 suites. Each suite comes with a private butler and is enriched with oxygen to combat potential altitude sickness. Junior Suite interiors feature a complimentary in-room bar, premium bedding, a flat screen television, spacious marble bathroom with soaking tub and complimentary wifi. This hotel is unique for Cusco, as it has a swimming pool.
