Cuba

It can take three days to travel the 900 mile long distance of Cuba and each area of Cuba offers different landscapes. Explore the interesting pre-Jurassic geography to the west of Havana and the beautiful coral islands to the east. Las Terrazas / La Moka is the closest Cuba has to what can be described as a national park area. Further west is the stunning countryside of the Vinales Valley with its famous limestone mogotes. The coast & islands of Cuba also has some stunning beaches.
The cities of Havana, Trinidad & Santiago de Cuba are very different from each other. Havana is a must see city, busy with music playing everywhere. Trinidad is a smaller more colourful colonial city moving at a slower pace. Santiago is a steamy, hot city surrounded by the Sierra Maestra mountains, not yet affected by mass tourism & unfortunately does not have a huge amount of accommodation options available.
