Casa Turquesa is a guesthouse located in the quiet side of Paraty’s historic center, overlooking the docks it only nine suites divided into master and luxury options, both of which are unique and present exclusive décor inspired by the name of the room. Furniture designed by Brazilian artists and works of art by both local painters and by the famed French artist Jacques Rey and English artist Margaret Mee enliven every room. The windows beautifully frame views of the inner courtyard, Paraty Bay, the tiled rooftops and mountains, or the dome of the Santa Rita Church. The Casa Turquesa staff are trained to the highest of standards and prepare food and drinks to meet your acquired taste! The guesthouse has activities such as; walking tours that focuses on Paraty’s history and architecture trails through crystalline beaches, trekking through the Atlantic Forest, a pottery class, horseback riding with the wind in your face, a delicious lunch in a restaurant in the middle of the forest including a dip in the ocean and a stop at a waterfall.
