Anytime is a good time!
The most popular time for visitors is between January and the end of March so this can result in availability issues. If you can avoid travelling to Costa Rica in September and October you will miss the heaviest rain-always a bonus!
Travelling in April and May, November and early December are wonderful times to travel-avoiding the ‘snowbirds’ travelling down from North America. July and August is also a great time to visit because they have the mass arrival of turtles to lay their eggs in Tortuguero.
Christmas and Easter holidays are always extremely busy and early booking is essential.
